Whistler: A Study In Image Repetition

I could go on and on about how amazing it is to live in Seattle and how awesome it was to spend a week skiing in our back yard at Whistler at the end of michelle2.jpgFebruary, but the bad thing about poor writing is that the only thing my words would do is ruin the image you have in your mind. Since the only thing I have time for right now is poor writing, I suggest you go read Jess’s post on the trip. All I’ll tell you is that it was amazing: great friends, great weather, great snow, and fresh tracks in fresh powder.

On the other hand, if you’re looking to see how many nearly identical pictures of the same mountains from slightly different angles you can look at before poking out your eyes, then this is the place for you. Michelle always makes fun of me for taking a thousand of pictures of the same thing, pointing out that it’s nearly impossible to go through them all later to pick out the best for our photo albums. Not surprisingly, it turns out she’s right: I find myself completely incapable of going through all the pictures from our trip carefully enough to pick out the best shots. On the other hand I did manage to remove all the blurry pictures from the album before posting, and I will triumphantly hang my hat on that accomplishment.

Enjoy. If you can.
